Macrolight End User License Agreement (EULA)

Version 1.0 Effective date: 2026-05-06

1. Parties

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a binding agreement between Nuray Yağcı (sole proprietor, Türkiye) ("Licensor", "Macrolight") and the end user ("Licensee", "you") of the Macrolight mobile application ("Software").

By installing or using the Software, you accept this EULA. If you do not accept, do not install or use the Software.

This EULA replaces Apple's standard EULA. Apple's licensed-application end-user license terms apply additionally where required by Apple App Store rules.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with this EULA, Licensor grants you a:

• Non-exclusive
• Non-transferable
• Revocable
• Worldwide
• Non-sublicensable

license to use the Software on iOS-compatible devices that you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

Per Apple's rules, the license also extends to devices you share through Family Sharing under your Apple ID.

3. Prohibited Activities

You may NOT:

• Copy the Software or any part thereof (except a single backup copy)
• Modify the Software, create derivative works, or merge it with other works
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble (except as expressly permitted by applicable law)
• Sell, rent, lease, lend, distribute, or sublicense the Software
• Remove copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices

4. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

a. The Software offers subscriptions sold through the Apple App Store: - Monthly: ₺149.99 - Yearly: ₺1199.99 - 7-day free trial (new subscribers only)

In other countries prices are displayed in your local currency on the App Store and may vary by region.

b. Auto-renewal (Apple-required language):

"Subscription auto-renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period."

The renewal fee will be charged to your Apple account 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal price equals the price of your subscribed plan (any price changes will be communicated in advance).

c. Free Trial: If you do not cancel before the end of your 7-day free trial, the subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription. Any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you upgrade to a paid plan.

d. Subscription Management (Apple-required language):

"Subscriptions can be managed in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions."

To cancel a subscription, follow the steps above. Macrolight cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf.

e. Refund Policy: All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Macrolight does not issue refunds directly. Statutory rights under EU Consumer Rights Directive and Turkish Consumer Protection Law (No. 6502) remain reserved.

5. NOT MEDICAL ADVICE — Important Disclaimer

MACROLIGHT IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE. NOTHING IN THE SOFTWARE CONSTITUTES MEDICAL ADVICE, DIAGNOSIS, OR TREATMENT.

• Calorie, macronutrient, weight, and nutrition information is for informational purposes only.
• Consult a qualified doctor or dietitian before making nutritional or weight-related decisions.
• If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, diabetic, have a history of eating disorders, or have any chronic medical condition, do not rely on Software estimates for clinical decisions.
• AI outputs (calorie estimates from photos, recipes from videos) are estimates and may contain errors. Users with allergies must verify ingredients themselves.
• Calorie tracking by users under 18 or with eating-disorder history requires professional supervision.

By using the Software you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted this disclaimer.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Software is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Licensor disclaims all express, implied, or statutory warranties, including but not limited to: - That the Software will operate uninterrupted or error-free, - Fitness for a particular purpose, - Freedom from viruses, bugs, or harmful code, - Non-infringement of third-party rights.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Licensor shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, or data. Total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid Apple for your subscription in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Statutory consumer rights (e.g., under Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and EU Consumer Rights Directive) remain unaffected.

8. Apple-Required Provisions

• This EULA is between Licensor and you only; Apple Inc. is not a party to this EULA.
• Licensor (not Apple) is solely responsible for the Software and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support.
• If the Software fails to conform to this EULA or applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which may refund the purchase price. Beyond that, Apple has no warranty obligations.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any product-liability, privacy-violation, or consumer-protection claims.
• Any third-party intellectual-property infringement claim shall be solely the responsibility of Licensor.
• You represent that you are not located in a country embargoed by the U.S. government, and that you will use the Software in compliance with U.S. export controls.
• Apple Inc. and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and may enforce it directly against you.

9. Termination

a. This license automatically terminates without notice if you breach the EULA.

b. Upon termination you must remove the Software from your device.

c. Termination does not entitle you to refunds of previously made payments.

10. Governing Law

This EULA is governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Istanbul Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction; consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts at the consumer's place of residence remain competent.
